Data Collection
Proxy Auto Auth MV3 does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information, browsing history, analytics, or advertising data.
Data Use
The extension uses the proxy host, port, username, password, enabled state, and retry preference entered by the user solely to respond to proxy authentication requests.
Data Storage
All settings and credentials are stored locally in the user's Chrome
profile using chrome.storage.local. The extension does not
operate a remote server and does not transmit this information to the
developer or third parties.
Data Sharing
User data is not sold, transferred, or used for advertising, analytics, creditworthiness, or any purpose unrelated to proxy authentication.
Data Retention and Deletion
Settings remain in the local Chrome profile until the user clears them through the extension or removes the extension.
Permissions
- storage: Saves user-provided settings locally.
- webRequest: Detects proxy authentication requests.
- webRequestAuthProvider: Provides credentials to Chrome's proxy authentication process.
- all URLs: Allows authentication to work when a proxy challenge occurs while visiting any website. Browsing activity is not collected or transmitted.
Limited Use
The use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
