Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 11, 2026
This policy explains how Clash Companion handles the information needed for its features: wiki browsing, offline caching, preferences, local backups and advertising. It applies to the Clash Companion mobile app published by Valemko.
Publisher and contact
The app is published by Valemko / Valemko.app. For questions about this policy or your data, email hello@valemko.app. No account is required to use the wiki.
What the app does not request
Clash Companion does not ask you to create an account and does not build a user profile. The app does not require your name, contacts or precise location. It only accesses your photo library if you choose to add an image to a saved layout or army. Selected images are stored locally and are not uploaded by Clash Companion.
Data stored on your device
To personalize the experience, the app may store the theme, language, reference TH/BH levels, Max Combat Pass setting, favorites, history, viewed levels, planner profiles, saved layouts and armies, selected images, backup points, the Clash Companion Plus activation state and a transaction identifier. This information remains in the app’s private storage and does not constitute an online account.
Wiki data and network connections
To display pages, Clash Companion connects to the public PocketBase server configured by the app and may load related images. Responses are cached locally to speed up later openings and support offline browsing. The app does not send a personal profile to the wiki server.
Google Mobile Ads
Clash Companion uses Google Mobile Ads for banners and occasional interstitial ads at natural transitions. The one-time Clash Companion Plus purchase disables these formats throughout the app; no new ad request is then made.
Depending on your region, choices and the applicable framework, Google may process technical information such as your IP address, advertising or device identifiers, device information, and ad delivery or diagnostic data. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on the choices allowed.
More information is available in Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Mobile Ads data disclosure .
Clash Companion Plus purchases
Clash Companion Plus is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play Billing. The app receives the purchase state from Google Play, stores the activation state and a transaction identifier locally to maintain the ad-free experience, and can restore the purchase with the Google Play account. Payments, receipts and billing information are handled by Google under its own terms and privacy policies. The app does not request or store card details.
Consent and UMP controls
The Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK refreshes consent status on every launch and shows a form when required. Ad requests are allowed only after the consent state required by the SDK. When available, the “Manage privacy choices” button in Settings lets you change or withdraw your choices. When Clash Companion Plus is active, no UMP form or ad loading is triggered. Google’s SDK may retain saved choices under its own rules and privacy policies.
No separate analytics currently
The current version of Clash Companion does not include a user account, Firebase Analytics or a separate third-party analytics service. Advertising and the UMP SDK remain subject to the technical processing needed to operate them. If this changes, this policy will be updated.
Purposes and legal bases
Preferences and cache are processed to provide requested features and remember your choices. Advertising and consent are processed according to choices made in UMP and applicable obligations. An email you send is processed to answer your request. The exact legal basis may depend on your country and the processing involved.
Recipients and sharing
Local data is not sold or shared as a user profile. The PocketBase provider receives requests needed for wiki content. Google receives information needed for consent and ad delivery. If you contact us, your message passes through the email app and provider you choose. Each provider applies its own terms and privacy policy.
Retention
Preferences, favorites, history, plans and backups remain on the device until you delete them, clear the app data or uninstall the app, subject to operating-system backup mechanisms. Wiki cache data may be replaced or removed by the app. Messages sent to hello@valemko.app may be kept as long as needed to follow up and meet applicable obligations.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain processing. For local data, you can act by clearing Clash Companion’s data or uninstalling it. For advertising choices, use the UMP control in Settings. For any request, email hello@valemko.app. You may also contact your competent data-protection authority.
Children
Clash Companion does not knowingly seek to collect children’s personal data and does not require an account. If you are under the legal age in your country, use the app with a parent’s or legal guardian’s permission and guidance.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change with new features, technical providers or applicable rules. The date at the top of this page identifies the current version. For significant changes, the app may draw your attention to them.
